How to setup Facebook Authorship?
It is quite simple. You just need to add a Meta tag in the head section of your Joomla website. But as I mention above that it allow the reader to follow you for future posts, so you need to check your Facebook settings. And if you have not enabled Follow me Follow me option, enable it first.
If you wish to use your Facebook page instead of Profile in authorship, you can skip the previous step.
Now copy the below given code and paste it into the head section of your website. Don’t forget to add your page or profile URL.

- Go to Facebook Object Debugger – https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/
- Now enter your URL and click on Debug button.
- Now check out the preview below on the same page and if it is displaying the authorship link, it’s fine. If it is not displaying the authorship link then just click on “Fetch new Scrape Information” and it will start showing authorship.
