Note that I was not thinking AT ALL of "full support" of IE : just making *submenu items* work.
Because if visitors can't access the menu items, it is very annoying
For the rest (like all the great stuff that can be made with recent css but not supported by IE, we don't care.
Example : filter:grayscale(100%) is not supported by IE. In such a case, I can say "sorry you're using an old browser".
But the Public Sector or big Cies, very often people only have IE
So having the menu work is a sort of minimum useful compatibility.
