Hi there,

Very nice that new feature Dropdown Trigger "hover or click". It works like a charm.
But the feature just after, namely "dropdown arrow" "disable or enable" seems to have no impact : the carret is still showing no matter what (and I have cleared the Astroid cache AND the Joomla cache of course).
Could this be a little bug ?
If so, could you tell me the fix ? (so that I don't have to wait for the next release, bc this as such is just a minor fix)

Hi,

It seems you might be a little confused with what this feature actually does, please read the following post: www.joomdev.com/forum/astroid-framework/...ow-in-mainmenu#14239

Thank you Nishtha !
Yes, it seems that I am not the only one to have a wrong understanding of "dropdown arrow" :D

But how to make my "caret" disappear then ?
In css I see it is
.astroid-nav .nav-item-parent .nav-title > .nav-item-caret
but if I add a "display: none", the arrow disappear... but there remains the empty space

Okidoki, I had not seen there was a "padding-right" on the nav-title itself :D
So here is my custom.css.
Is this also the way you would do it ?
.astroid-nav .nav-item-parent .nav-title {
    padding-right: 0px;
}
.astroid-nav .nav-item-parent .nav-title > .nav-item-caret {
	display: none;
}

Hi,

Yes your css is correct if you want to remove that "dropdown arrow". We do not have any such option in the Astroid backend for this.
Let us know if it worked!

Thanks,
Nishtha
