I've requested help in the Phoca Cart forums, but their is very little response there.

Phoca cart seems to overrule the Astroid css and (ofcourse) I don't want that

This is my normal css layout: 84.83.156.93/images/normalcss.PNG
This is opening the Phoca store: 84.83.156.93/images/phocacss.PNG & 84.83.156.93/images/phoca2css.PNG

Is there anyway I can have Astroid overrule Phoca's layout??

Hope you can help, otherwise I'll have to wait till they wakeup and give me an answer.

Hi Marc,

In general inline CSS would always overrides what's in the stylesheets and even stylesheets (based on the order they are loaded onto the page) can override each other.

You'd need to write CSS in order to get this done and it's all possible.

Here is a very through article on the same topic to get you started.

 :woohoo:

That's way over my head :(

But, all extensions "must" use the same "naming" right? and the last CSS is leading?
If so, it would mean either strip the Phoca CSS so it loads an empty file and Astroid will be leading, or make sure Astroid is the last loaded CSS.

Or am I thinking to simple now (which is not very uncommon  ) ?

You could definitely try to do that. Not sure if Astroid would have the CSS for same class names. The naming is unique to the extension (most of the times).

I've tried, but doesn't do much good :(
Aligning the Phoca CSS is quite a big job to do.

To bad.

I know. It's something custom per extension and nothing we can do about it.

Hi,

only for your information, for now Phoca Cart HTML output is Bootstrap 3 HTML code. In next version, there will be parameter to switch to Bootstrap 4. The same for the icons. For now there is support for Bootstrap Glyphicons and Font Awesome icons. I next version there will be new option - Font Awesome 5, so it is fully integrated with Astroid.

All Phoca Cart CSS can be overriden (there is no !important rule used) and loading of CSS can be managed in Parameters.

See screenshot (Phoca Cart and Bootstrap4/Fontawesome 5 - will be possible i next version):
