Hello

I use Astroid Framework. I put on my home page (which is a "featured articles" page) modules such as a slider for example.
The problem I encounter is that when I click on "read more" the article appears on the home page and the slider is still present.

How can I make articles open on a blank page?

Thank you

Hi,

That's Joomla's default behavior, you assign something to a page and any links from that page would inherit that page's menu item id and show the same assignments.

You can create a new menu item that would be linked to this article and Joomla will automatically update the read more link to include the Itemid of the new menu item and NOT show the slider on that page.

Thanks,
Chetan

You can use Advanced Module Manager to assign the module just to homepage and it won't apear on any of the linked pages, from homepage or search.

extensions.joomla.org/extension/advanced-module-manager/
