Hello!
Thank you for Astroid Framework. It 's a super framework!
I have a question. Can an Astroid work with a multi-category plugin Content Multicategories? After turning on the plugin, I have an error: Fatal error: Cannot declare class ContentModelCategory, because the name is already in use in W:\domains\My Website\components\com_content\models\category.php on line 495
Help me, please.
Thanks.

Hi Marina,

It shouldn't be a problem with the plugin. Let me go ahead and review this real quick and get back to you with a fix.

I installed the plugin with Astroid and don't have this issue. Can you enable debug and error reporting in your Joomla config and then enable the plugin. You should see a full stack trace of how the error is happening. Please post that back here and I can assist further.

Thanks,
CHetan

Advanced settings have no other information.
Test: MiniCCK, CW Multicategories - error. The page does not open.

Hello,

I think I probably installed another plugin the other day. Do you think you could share a copy of the plugin via email? This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Hi,
I'm curious about the solution because I'm having the same error :

PHP Fatal error: Cannot declare class ContentModelCategory, because the name is already in use in /public_html/components/com_content/models/category.php on line 495

When using the plugin from joomline.org/extensions/modules-for-joom...entfieldsfilter.html

Thanks for any tips.

Hello,

The problem is with Astroid's category blog layout. It has some legacy code that's throwing some error.

Please replace the file JROOT/temaplates/astroid_template_zero/html/com_content/category/blog.php with the one from here gist.github.com/chetanmadaan/93a232d3fef7e143d41596eda68164f9

Or just remove the following lines and you should be good.
github.com/joomdev/Astroid-Framework/blo...gory/blog.php#L9-L12

Line 9 - 12
require_once(JPATH_COMPONENT . "/models/category.php");
JHtml::addIncludePath(JPATH_COMPONENT . '/helpers');
$category = new ContentModelCategory();
$articles = $category->getItems();

We'll have this fixed in the next release.
Thanks,
Chetan
