Hello dear all, and thank you for adding responsive typography to v 2.3.0, as one time I asked you to do.
Unfortunately, even if I have made responsive changes (see attachment) ,I have cleared cache in joomla & browser, it seems not to work for me.

The h1 tags loaded in the source code are styled with the desktop size (see attachment).

Could you advice?

Hi,

I replaced the typography.php file, but the same result.
Looking deeper on this, I realized that after clicking SAVE on the template, closing it and opening it again, the changes were not saved. It seems to keep only the desktop size for mobile, too.

What could I do?
Thank you!

Are all your Astroid settings not savings or is this limited to Responsive settings only?

Thanks,

After testing this again, yes, the SAVE button seems to don;t work for all settings of the template.

Hello,

Another user reported a similar issue and it looks like it has something to do with the server settings as the Ajax response returns 500 error. Can you check with your host and see if they have anything in the error logs?

Thanks,

No error logs related, said the hosting company.
Please note that before the astroid update there was not problem while saving the template settings.

While trying again to make changes at the template settings, I realized that it really saves changes after some time. It doesn't save only for responsive font settings .

Any recommendation, please?

One of the things could be that it's saving the settings but not reflecting on the frontend.

This can be solved by deleting the typography.php from the frontend folder in your template as mentioned in the above linked post.

Hello Chetan,

I have very carefully read both the mentioned links. I also deleted the typography.php from the "frontend" folder of the template.
The result is the same, no success on saving mobile settings for typography, like the video posted at post #19175, here:
www.joomdev.com/forum/astroid-framework/...er-framework-upgrade

I use the latest version of JDParis template (Last updated: 25 Mar 2019).
I have no rewritten the template's name, I have only copied the style for multilanguage purposes, as Joomla suggests.

Please, make it easier to me to understand, what exactly am I missing and cannot make it to work?

Thank you.

Hi,

Well if you have carefully read the first 2 posts shared by Chetan then you might have known that the responsive typography will only work for templates that are compatible with the Astroid Framework v2.2.3.
As far as JD Paris is concerned it is updated upto Astroid Framework v2.1.0, therefore since you have updated only the framework but your template has not been update so you are only seeing the Responsive Typography option but it is not working.

We will release the template's update soon that will hopefully be compatible for responsive typography. Rest we'll keep you updated!

Thanks,
Nishtha
