Hi, I am trying to remove the white borders found in the hamburger menu (main menu when at reduced screen size)

can't see the setting anywhere in Astroid settings or even in css when using web inspector.

any help much appreciated

(also bonus question: is there a setting to change the width of this menu? eg make it take up 2/3 of screen)

Hi,

Yes you can increase the width of the offcanvas menu from here: www.screencast.com/t/HQumOMhsKp
As far as the white lines are concerned, I'll let the developer tell you that better.

Thanks,
Nishtha

Hello,

Uses attached for removing the border line.

How to add custom CSS or SCSS files

.astroid-mobilemenu-container .astroid-mobilemenu-inner .menu-item,
.astroid-mobilemenu-container .astroid-mobilemenu-inner .menu-item .menu-indicator { border: none; }

Thanks,
Chandan

thanks, however, I have the off canvas menu turned off. This is the main menu when viewed on smaller screen (mobile). Is there a setting for this like there is for off canvas one as that is exactly what I was after?

or conversely how do you turn off the default main menu hamburger menu item and instead use the off canvas menu for the responsive main menu hamburger

Also use this code.

.astroid-mobilemenu-container .astroid-mobilemenu-inner ul>li.menu-item:first-child { border: none; }

thanks that has removed all the white borders in the menu!!

A few more queries:
I can change the setting in the settings for Astroid to make the off canvas menu 100% (so it takes up the whole screen). This is found in the off canvas menu settings.

1. I would like to have the same settings that exist for the Off Canvas Menu for the Main Menu (when it is collapsed as a hamburger menu). is that possible?

2. why is the hamburger icon different for main menu and off canvas? can you change these?

3. how do I remove the thin white border under the header?

Hi,

Replies in order:

#1. There is no specific/different settings for the Mobile Menu but hopefully in the upcoming Astroid updates we'll add some of those.
#2. They are different for obvious reasons because if they where same it would be confusing to identify which is what.
#3. Please follow the link for solution: www.joomdev.com/forum/astroid-framework/...er-menu-after-update

Thanks,
Nishtha

The icons are built in HTML and it's not simply possible to replace an image and change those. You are looking at redoing some of html/css to change the look and feel.
