TOPIC: Not all of js scripts were moved to bottom

Not all of js scripts were moved to bottom 2 months 2 weeks ago #25762

Astroid framework moves js scripts to page gottom by default. But some scripts is still in the head section. This scripts requires jquery, but jquery includes after that scripts.
Some cases:
  1. I use a content plugin to highlight code in article. This plugin adds a js in the head section via $doc->addScript. Astroid doesn't proccess this file.
  2. JoomShopping adds its own functions.js in head. This file requires jQuery, but jQuery includes after and JoomShopping's js-script is down.
  3. I developed some plugins which adds some js in head via $doc->addScript for their work, but Astroid doesn't process them. Then I have dead script.

Hello,
I have the same problem, already reported about 3 weeks ago in this post:
www.joomdev.com/forum/jd-builder/5732-th...-the-jd-builder-page
but there is no answer. It happens on several plugins and modules. The jQuery script loads lower and lower and the extensions don't work. How can this be solved?

Hi,

Astroid only moved Astroid related JS to the footer and default Joomla's scripts and jQuery are loaded normally. Is there is a URL on your website where we can see and reproduce this problem?

thanks,
Chetan
