The row has 2 classes set:
1. align-items-end
2. justify-content-end
The first one works, the second one doesn't. In the second column, there is a div block that has styles set

.testdiv{
display: block;
border: 1px solid red;
width: 100px;
}

as you can see, it shifts, and the rule does not work.

Hi,

It's hard to see without the link to the page. But as you can see, it can all be done with boostrap4 classes and you can put these classes on section/row/col/element level.

I'd suggest trying to create the layout by applying classes via developer console and creating the layout of your choice and then adding those same classes in the backend.

Thanks,
Chetan

The question is not this, but why classes do not work at the string row

I have been trying to lay out my entire website that I'm making from freecodecamp and I can't seem to get a layout using just flexbox, idk if I'm missing anything, but if anyone has a good tutorial for me, I'd greatly appreciate it!

Hi,

If you want to cause them to wrap once they become too wide you must add the flex-wrap property with a value of wrap , or use the shorthand flex-flow with values of row wrap or column wrap . Items will then wrap in the container mygiftcardsite.

In this example, .parent is the flex container. When flex-direction is set to column and flex-wrap is set to wrap there is extraneous white space between columns. What is causing this behavior and what can be done to remove it so that flex items are flush against each other with only their margins causing separation?

<div class="parent">
<div class="child"></div>
<div class="child"></div>
<div class="child"></div>
<div class="child"></div>
<div class="child"></div>
<div class="child"></div>
</div>
