I am running an older version of the JDAtlanta template. It will not work with any php version past 5.6. Since Joomla wants PHP 7.1 or better, I have the need to upgrade my template.
I am not sure how I can manually upgrade the template, without destroying all my pages, menus, etc...
I tried just downloading the most recent package from joomdev, but then I just get an error page.
Can anyone please tell me how I can do a manual upgrade without destroying my data?

Thank You in advance

What error do you get after installing the most recent package?
Provide some screenshots as well if possible.

Thank You,
