Hello,
I've created 2 pages with page builder which belong to a bigger site made with astroid-zero.
Now I wanted to set a category which I've already created, as you explained in the docs: "Category- Set to which Category the page belongs from the ones created earlier."
But there is nothing to choose but "none" in the page settings - I've expected to see my categories there. Am I wrong?
Best
Chris

Hi Chris,

Here we are referring to the categories that you will have to create under Categories(Pages): www.screencast.com/t/7IZINoVj
Did you create any of those? If not then you will have to create one, these categories will be assigned to those JD Builder pages.

Let us know if you face any issues there!

Thanks,
Nishtha

I see, thank you!
My problem is, I want to have an on-site navigation (back -> forward), but if I have my 2 pages made with jd builder not referring to the same categorie as the other pages the navigation skips them. Do you have any workaround or solution for that?
Thanks in advance
Chris

Hi Chris,

Categories for Joomla & Categories for JD builder work a little differently.

You see, categories for Joomla is used for categorization of articles and display on the backend as well as the Frontend as well.
Categories in JD Builder however don't work the same way, they are used for caegorization in the backend and that's it. You won't get the same Prev & Next buttons on the frontend in JD builder pages.

The only way for your to create a Prev Next button at the bottom of the pages is manually using the JD Builder Layout Manager itself.

Thanks,
Chetan

Thanks Chetan, I've got it. I've created them manually as you recommended: www.bgv-impfen.de For this website I used the JD Builder to build 2 pages with accordion. Thanks for your support! Chris
