Hi,

Post ' How do I get a license key for localhost? ' is locked.

www.joomdev.com/license-keys states that:
Please note that localhost, any domain ending with .local, 127.0.0.1 and all local IP's are white-listed with your existing keys.

However, on the lan I use 192.168.1.0/24 I am still presented with:
Hello, In order to use the premium features and receive auto-updates, you need to add your license key. Activate JD Builder Pro

I saved this just as patch.php:
gist.githubusercontent.com/chetanmadaan/...4a0283/gistfile1.txt

and copied it to

plugins/system/jdbuilder/libraries/jdpagebuilder/Helper.php

But still I have the "Hello, In order to use the premium features ... " message

Please advise.

BTW how are local IP's determined? I am relying on this because local joomla instances that I use have 'localdomain' as the domain.
As an effort in testing I changed to use 'local', bust still the above message is seen.

Hello,

Existing keys should work without an issue. We'll go ahead and double check this in the API and get back to you.

Local Ip's are hardcoded and anything that starts with 10. or 192.168. or 127.0.0.1 or localhost or ends with .local is considered a local IP.

Thanks,
Chetan

Hi,

I checked again:

$ ping haulage.localdomain
PING haulage.localdomain (192.168.1.100) 56(84) bytes of data.

Still getting "Hello, In order to use the premium features and receive auto-updates, you need to add your license key. Activate JD Builder Pro" with pro 1.4 installed when I visit haulage.localdomain/administrator/index....jdbuilder&view=pages

BTW I do not have ANY keys created - I am on localhost and have not needed to deploy yet. Perhaps this situation of no keys at all is the problem?

You missed a big detail in here. You need to have an active subscription an a key created in order to access the pro features.
So, create a key for abc.com or whatever your domain is and the same will work on all local IP's.

For anyone with this problem ... until the problem is fixed just create a key for your external IP.
