Hello,
How to hide JD Builder Menu on administrator navbar for a specific user?
I have changed the permissions in Global Configuration to "denied" and the JD Builder menu in the navbar is still visible, but when clicked the menu is not working. Is there a way to get rid of the menu?
Please help me :(
Thank you

Hi,

The menu is added in the Global Joomla menu so there isn't a simple way of removing it.

We'll get this worked out in the next version so this can be hidden automatically based on access level.

Thanks,
Chetan

Hi,

I just realized the link is added on the fly and not stored in the DB.
You can actually comment the following link and it should take care of it.

github.com/joomdev/JD-Builder/blob/maste...r/jdbuilder.php#L157

Thanks,
Chetan

Hi,

Can I find it there? and I can delete the code there?

My only goal is to hide the link from my client users.

Thank you

Hello @Agsilo,

Pail8479 was a spammer.

There is no way to hide it for the client. For the moment you can hide it for all.
We will try to provide this feature in the next release.

If you want to hide for all then remove the attached code from the jdbuilder.php file
$this->addAdminMenu();

Path: ROOT/plugins/system/jdbuilder

Thanks,
Chandan
