Hi,

Re: www.spicetower.uk
I edited the address information in the 'Sidebar Info' module, but some of the code was stripped and now the social icons etc do not show.
I uploaded and configured a new installation, but the code was stripped again as soon as I opened the editor.

Regards,
Colin

Hi,

You just need to assign the Social Profiles module position in the backend: www.screencast.com/t/ElSxPHcw9 whether before or after the address module.
Let us know if this worked.

Thanks,
Nishtha

Made no difference.
I dont think it's about the Social Profiles module position. The social profiles appear at the bottom of each page and also the sidebar. It's the sidebar module that stripping the code.

Colin.

Hi,

Here is another example of code being stripped : www.bestwebuk.co.uk/Samples/Cafe/index.php/about
This time the ticks are missing from the list.
Please let me know how to resolve the 2 issues.

Regards,
Colin.

Hi Colin,

1. To get back the social icons you need to assign them to "astroid-sidebar-info" module position, like so: www.screencast.com/t/S5t2dBGjzl

2. To get back those tick marks, first change your default editor to None in Global Configurations (www.screencast.com/t/nBwyQSUau55); secondly open the Welcome To module and add the following code:
<!-- About -->
<div class="row">
<div class="col-12 col-md-6">
<p>Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy.</p>
<p>It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using.</p>
<ul class="fa-ul">
<li>Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetuer.</li>
<li>Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetuer adipiscing elit.</li>
<li>It is a long established fact that a reader.</li>
<li>Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetuer.</li>
<li>It is a long established fact that a reader.</li>
</ul>
</div>
<div class="col-12 col-md-6 align-self-center"><img class="mx-auto d-block" src="images/section_bg/img-13.png" alt="About" /></div>
</div>

Let us know if this helped.

Thanks,
Nishtha
