Dear All,

When I first started building the web site I had background images that were static so that the contents scrolled over them, just like in the demo. However, after having edited the background images for the various positions in the "JD Miami" tab, I noticed the following:
  1. Any update results in the background image that isn't specifically added (again) at that time isn't shown. So say that I have 3 bg images, then I have to add all 3 again with every "save".
  2. These background images no longer are static
  3. I added Sprok quotes but found that the background colour for the position isn't shown, background remains white
Does this sound familiar to anyone? Or perhaps ideas how to correct?
Mich.

Hey Guys!

OK, that seems to fix the Sprok background issue, but the images (below the Search button and the slideshow) still move along with the scrolling whereas they should really be static.

Can you have another try please?

Mich.

Best thing is to just check the Web site. I've left the PHP file as you sent it to me active. The url is aarrc.tukcedo.nl

Hey guys,

I just checked at work, using IE and Firefox. I noticed an additional problem shown in the first screenshot: images that I define to be smaller look good in FF but apparently IE ignores the size definition that I give it. In any case, about the images not being scrolled over but rather with the rest of the content, both IE and FF respond the same way.

The latter two screenshots show the areas for which I'd like the background to be static, i.e. the image stays in place while the content seems to scroll over it. This isn't the case: the images scrolls along with the rest of the content.

See what I mean?

Mich.
