Hello all,

Thank you all who are using JD New York template for their sites, there's a good news for you that the template has now been migrated to Astroid framework. Go ahead and download the new template JD New York v3.0 now: www.joomdev.com/products/templates/jd-newyork-template
Please read the following points to make your migration process easier & simpler:

Note: Please take your original site backup. Install it separately and make the new changes there. When you are satisfied with all your changes then upload the backup of this site onto the live site.

1.Firstly you need to install it as fresh template now because the framework has been changed. Then make jd_newyork_astroid as your default template. (www.joomdev.com/products/templates/jd-newyork-template).

2. Since a new framework has been added you are now required to update the module positions in the jd_newyork_astroid's layout. Though we have tried and kept the module positions same as before but if there is any custom module position you might have created then you need to add it here.

3. If you have written any Custom CSS for your previous template you need to add it now in jd_newyork_astroid. Please read the following article for better understanding: docs.joomdev.com/article/how-to-use-cust...ss-files-to-astroid/

4. If you have created any Custom Overrides in your previous template(jd_newyork) then they are also required to be moved into jd_newyork_astroid.

Thanks,
Nishtha
