Hi,

Re: www.luxminime.com

At the bottom of the page, the social icons do not always show in the Follow Us module. I have previously raised a log and the solution was to clear the cache, but it continues to be an issue and other users are now flagging the same problem.

Regards,
Colin.

Hi,

I don't want to customise anything. I just want the icons to work the same as the Joomdev live version.
Please advise.

Regards,
Colin.

Hi,

So I do this: "In the hikashop_config table, add an entry with the namekey "font-awesome" and the value "no"."
But not this: "Then, add your CSS in your template to replace HikaShop's fontawesome."

Regards,
Colin

Hello,

If you don't use the previous solution then use the following code.

.social-icon .fa { font-family: "Font Awesome 5 Brands"; }

Create a custom.css file in css folder and save code in it.

Path: templates/TEMPLATENAME/css

Hi Chandan,

I put the code direct in the template custom code css and it appears to work.

Are there any advantages in creating a separate file?

Regards,
Colin.

HI Colin,

Custom code and/or custom.css are pretty much the same. Developers prefer custom.css file since it can be easily edited by FTP and such.
