Hello,

since some weeks we get the error "Invalid token" when submitting the contact form.
We already tried to switch off caching and to extend the session lifetime but the error still exists.

Can you help us please?

Joomla: 3.9.12
JD Simple Contact Form: 1.6

Hey Joe,

Thank you for using the JD Simple Contact Form.

Can you share the URL with the JDSCF, so I can have a look?

There must be some JavaScript conflict with the captcha or something.

Let me know.

Thanks,
Akash

Hey Joe,

Thank you for your patience. This is something to do with the Joomla session.

Your website is not able to create the session token when submitting the form. Can you try updating the form once and then try?

If it's not solved by updating, can you share your site's credentials on This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., so I can have a look?

Thanks,
Akash

Joe,

I once again tested your form and your site is returning the 301 Moved Permanently. (Screenshot attached)

This error shows up when the com_ajax is not found.

I had a look at the backend of your website and there's a plugin Ajax - JA Content Type by Joomlart. I am not able to deactivate the plugin, maybe because of admin rights.

Can you try deactivating that plugin or other plugins that can be potentially blocking the Ajax request of the JD Simple Contact Form?

Let me know, how it goes.

Thanks,
Akash
