Hello,

I have been using this module for a very long time and it works perfectly.
If I'm writing this topic, it's just for a html5 syntax problem.

When I test the page that contains the form with the W3C validator, I get an error message just because of the comma which is automatically placed after the last type of file accepted as an attachment. (see attached file).

Thank you for your attention

Hi Francis,

Thank you for using the JD Simple Contact Form.

Thank you for pointing out the issue. We've fixed it and going to release a new version soon.

Until then you can download and install the JD Simple Contact Form with a fix.

Let me know if it fixed the issue at your end.

Thanks,
Akash

Hello Akash
Thank you for this quick response !
I see the code has been changed in the Plugins \ JD-Simple-Contact-Form-master \ JD-Simple-Contact-Form-master \ layouts \ fields \ file.php file in the corrected version and the error is gone .
But there is still another error that I forgot to point out to you, it is an id duplicate in this same line of code. See Attachment.

Hi Akash

You just modified the plugins \ JD-Simple-Contact-Form-master \ JD-Simple-Contact-Form-master \ layouts \ fields \ file.php file. Can I replace this file on my site to avoid having to reinstall the full mod?
Thank you

Hello

I installed version 1.8 of the plugin, the comma problem is fixed, but this time there are 3 different "id" in this input file.
Please see attached W3C screenshot.

Thank you

Hey Francis,

Thank you for your patience.

I just checked the ID issue at my end, and I can only see one ID. I think we've fixed this in the past.

Can you try updating the module and then let me know if still the issue appears?

Let me know.

Thanks,
Akash

Hi Akash
I just completely uninstalled the plugin and reinstalled version 1.8, I still have 3 IDs in the input. This is visible in the source code of the page but not in the debug console. When I submit the page to the W3C Validator, it tells me "Duplicate attribute id".
Attached, screenshot of the debug console and source code.
Thank you

Francis,

Just fixed those. I was looking only in the console and the console was removing the duplicate attributes. That's why didn't able to reproduce the bugs.

Thanks for pointing it out and for your efforts. Download the latest file from here.

Let me know if you face any other issues.

There are more issues reported by the w3c validator, which are minor and we will be fixing them in the future release.

Thanks,
Akash
