Hi,
I'm trying the Social Share on the Medical template. I have this issues/questions: 1. when I configured the icons to appear on K2 (after the article), they appear also in the list mode, or under the popular items. The icons take too much space and they don't have to be there ... Is there a way to display the icons only in the open item (not in any lists)? 2. Related to this. The K2 social links only show when the post is open. But now I would like to remove them (forgot where...)

Hello,
Thanks for using our plugin. Replies in order: 1. The K2 Module is actually triggering the same event as the K2 item (is) and thus showing the icons in the module as well. If you can turn off the setting "Enable Joomla content Plugins" in your K2 module advanced tab, that should stop the icons from appearing. 2. If you go to plugin settings in the plugin manager, You can select ignore for Page types and that should fix it. |
Thank You,

Thanks for the reply.
The first suggestion works well for the Popular posts. I tried the second, but it hadn't desire effect, whatever options and combination I tried. I would like to achieve the same thing as wth native K2 social icons. In oteh Category page, there is only "Read More" icon, but on the opened item, I can see the social media icons. |

Hi,
actually i did try that. When I do that, the icons disappear everywhere, in the categories, but also when I open an item. Tried excluding categories as well. It looks like, for the icons to show, items has to be included in settings. But then it will show also in the menu for the category (as part of article preview). The setting for category has no effect, included or excluded. thanks, Peter |
