Hi,

How can I easily close the spacing between modules on pages? I seem to have a lot of space between modules.

Thanks

Hi,

Firstly identify the below or above module of the space. Secondly after identification follow the path: Astroid template options >> Layout >> Go to that module position >> Click on Edit section and remove the margin padding custom class written there like so(www.screencast.com/t/uN0OQhyc)

Let us know if this helped.

Thanks,
Nishtha

Hi.

As you can see this section-2 has a padding of 200px applied so (www.screencast.com/t/tnHynNccS)some space is because of that. Then below it is again a section-6 which also has 200px padding (www.screencast.com/t/CFjXdBBonrNz)
Similarly there is a margin value of 200px applied on this row in section-2 (www.screencast.com/t/UwxmncphawL)
Remove or reduce these.

Thanks,
Nishtha

Hi,

I'm having the same problem here:www.directionsformen.org.uk
I edited the spacing for the section above module position 1, but it doesn't appear to have made any difference.

Hope you can help.
Colin.

Hi Colin,

The same is the case with your section also. You have placed module-1 in section-1 which has a padding of 200 px, remove or adjust that and you will be good to go. Just go to edit section >> Design tab >> remove the padding values (www.screencast.com/t/FNWDga7vuKD3).

Let us know if this worked!

Thanks,
Nishtha

Hi Nishtha,

I can't see any values there. It looks just the same as your screenshot?

Regards,
Colin.

Hi,

Well then this has been done intentionally in the code so to remove it you need to create a custom CSS file, for that read the article(docs.joomdev.com/article/how-to-use-cust...ss-files-to-astroid/).

After creating the custom CSS file just add this selector there: .astroid-section { padding: 100px 0; } and you will be good to go.

Let us know if this worked.

Thanks,
Nishtha

Hi,

It's made no difference.
I have attached screenshots of the file location and the code.
