How can I get this link to open on the same page, and not on a new page?

I have used: templates => JD Boston => Basic => SOCIAL ICONS => Custom

<a target="_blank" href="https://domainname/sidemap"> <i class = "fa fa sitemap">

that it will be

<a target="_self" href="https://domainname/sidemap"> <i class = "fa fa sitemap">

Yes, You can do this or you can also remove the target="_blank" no need if you don't want link open in the new window.

Open the social.php file and remove all the target="_blank" as you want.

The code will be back when you update the JD Boston template. Because we have modified the template core file. The best way to achieve this use custom HTML module.
