I can not change the date format on the page. I already tried to do in the translation file and it does not work. It looks like this translation is being replaced by another one in your template. Can you tell me where I make this change? Follow the attachment for you to view.

Another thing. In this template there is a content of another extension that I installed in which it is loaded dynamically (Ajax). But it does not load the whole page. Look what the developer said to me:

# 2: You use a jQuery scroller, it gets page height then create scroll with it. When a content loaded via ajax, actual page height is larger than old one. You need contact support of your scroller plugin to solve the problem.

I'm using the JD Restaurant template.
Can you help me please?

Greetings and may God bless you.

Hello Bruno,
For the date, unfortunatelly, it's hard coded, I have reported and it will be fixed in the next version.

For the movement you can change the date as following.

File:
ROOT/templates/jd_restaurant/html/com_k2/templates/default/category_item.php around line 112.
You will find the code:
<?php echo JHTML::_('date', $this->item->created , JText::_('F d, Y')); ?>

You can change it to
<?php echo JHTML::_('date', $this->item->created , JText::_('K2_DATE_FORMAT_LC2')); ?>
and then modify the variable in the language file or add and override for K2_DATE_FORMAT_LC2

and obviously you have predefined date formats K2_DATE_FORMAT, K2_DATE_FORMAT_LC and K2_DATE_FORMAT_LC2 and can use any of those.
Or the Joomla date formats which are:
DATE_FORMAT_LC="l, d F Y"
DATE_FORMAT_LC1="l, d F Y"
DATE_FORMAT_LC2="l, d F Y H:i"
DATE_FORMAT_LC3="d F Y"
DATE_FORMAT_LC4="Y-m-d"
DATE_FORMAT_LC5="Y-m-d H:i"
DATE_FORMAT_LC6="Y-m-d H:i:s"
DATE_FORMAT_JS1="y-m-d"
DATE_FORMAT_CALENDAR_DATE="%Y-%m-%d"
DATE_FORMAT_CALENDAR_DATETIME="%Y-%m-%d %H:%M:%S"
DATE_FORMAT_FILTER_DATE="Y-m-d"
DATE_FORMAT_FILTER_DATETIME="Y-m-d H:i:s"

As for the scroll issue, It was fixed very recently (around 2 days ago) and if you update the template to the newer version (1.2), it should be fixed on your instance too.

Thank you,
Chetan

Okay, thanks for the prompt service :)

I'm going to test the date change, as you indicated.
How do I update the template without losing my site data?

Or can you login to my site via ftp and fix it for me?
Or can you tell me how I can fix it in the code?

I know my subscription is expired and I intend to renew it.
More at the moment what do you advise me in this case?

After you renew your subscription, You can download the new version of the template and just update/install via Joomla installer. that will fix it.

Thank you,
