Hello!
I'm having an issue with a javascript product "html5 lightbox" (html5box.com/html5lightbox/index.php) from within JD Builder. Following their instructions, I can make their product work from a simple html page. However, following your instructions, I cannot seem to make this product work. Here's the situation:
Page location: croznet.com/j/index.php. (last video on page - BSCC Christmas 2020). Simple working sample: croznet.com/testhtml5.html Any assistance would be appreciated! Thank you! |

Hi @hbcrosby
I'm another JD user that had a similar problem with the JCE Slimbox plugin. It was working until the most recent update to Astroid framework (I think) because my problem started at that time of upgrade. But also, at that time I had installed JDBuilder pro. Anyway, I followed these instructions that apply to Astroid 2.3.0 to 2.4 update and it fixed my slim box instances across the entire site. I would read and consider that "things to remember" doc. I forgot to mention I used Solution #1 in that doc. BUT I didn't delete the folders, I just renamed them in case the solution didn't work and I had to rollback. AND, I'm not saying this will fix your problem but it was a painless solution to try it!!! Cheers |

Hello dankra,
Thank you for your assistance! I followed your guidelines but unfortunately, the instructions were of no help. I'm not sure it is limited to only JDBuilder (preferred) as it also fails in another page builder. However, I'm not giving up just yet..... |

Hello, 2 options I can provide you with. 1. You can (with JD Builder), link an image to the inbuilt lightbox (since that's what you are trying to do). Just use the built-in lightbox. 2. The lightbox you are using is built on jQuery and could very well be conflicting with Joomla/JD Builder jQuery. Try looking for one that works without jQuery Hope this helps! Thanks, Chetan |
