Hi,
I was surprised that the astroid does not load the css of any plugin (eg k2).
So a little more design, design work, but ultimately less files to load.
I'm studying the astroid and I decided to use this template framework for my next 2 works.
That's why I have a few comments, questions, suggestions.
1. No change in section width when changing the Section layout value (eg without containre, container fluid, etc.).
2. How to create a new module position (eg search)?
3. It would be very good if the astroid megamenu was going to go to several menus at the same time and could be used in several module positions!
4. It would be good if I could choose from a list which add-ons css files should be loaded in the template and which ones not. This could save you a lot of time.

The section layout (1.) modification is working after closing the template style and reopening it
Question 2 lost its relevance because I realized the solution. Very simple! :-)

Hi,

#3 is something a few other people have asked and we are going to try to accomplish this without complicating things in the Header Management area a lot.
#4, do you mean the font awesome CSS and stuff because that's the only addition I can think off. We can't obviously remove bootstrap since astroid is based on that.

Thanks,
Chetan

For #2, The module position must exist in the module manager first before you can select the position in Astroid Template Manager modules position dropdown.

2. Create a new module position
  1. in templatedetails.xml I create a new module position <position> search </position>
  2. astroid template / Layot section eg in the right section I create a new module position, select the search position. Save.
After the page update in the module manager, I can select the search position. :-)

That's one way to do it as well.

Either way, the module position has to exist in the Joomla system. Either via templatedetails.xml file or via the module manager itself.

Thanks,
Chetan
