Each time, as developer I need to test changes in custom css I need to repeat this 4 steps.
When I work in SCSS, I need a fast way to trash all generated CSS and preview my changes - I’m working with Firefox developper to have a fast preview, but I need to clear all caches and Astroid generated CSS to continue my work.

In a good day, I maybe have to do that maybe 40 times :pinch:

Step 1 = Go to —> Admin Joomla Menu > Extensions > templates > styles
Step 2 = Go inside any layout styles
Step 3 = Wait for Astroid load
Step 4 = Click the “Clear Cache” button

My suggestion will be IDEALLY to add a “Clear Astroid Cache” at the first level of Joomla administration, Like that doesn’t matter where you are in the administration — Reduce to 1 step

Or at least at the second level — Reduce to 2 steps

Hi guys,

Thank you for the suggestion, we will take this into count for Astroid and as far as JD Builder is concerned we have considered this for the new JD Builder.

Thanks,
Nishtha

Find a way to bypass, at least on Firefox Dev... Should work with other browser.

• Clear your browser history
• Open a Private Window Session
• Open any Astroid Template Layout (with the “Clear Cache” button (in Private Session)
• Open another tabs with the Website (in Private Session)

Reduce to 3 steps and no more waiting watching the Asteroid crossing the screen
1. Change your CSS/SCSS
2. Press your “Clear Cache” button
3. Refresh your page

@Chacapamac

Thanks for posting, let's hope they get this added on next update. I noticed you mentioned the Astroid onload animation and just thought I'd mention that it can be deactivated in the Astroid [joomla] plugin, see attached.
